This is my second Menses Cup purchase as I backed them on Kickstarter. I LOVE this product. Prior to using the Lily Cup I was a super plus tampon user; and regularly got UTI’s. Not sure if it was the cotton or the string or a combination of it all. After switching to the Lily Cup, which I could leave in for longer periods of time, during my ultra heavy flow, and not have any leakage or concerns of TSS. This product has literally changed my life. I have less cramping, less fear of being in public places for too long without a bathroom, less doctors visits. The fact that it’s collapsable means I can store it in a clutch or pocket with no issues. I’m constantly referring friends and family to this product.

I would say this is not a cup for beginners. I started out with a Ladycup which has much smoother material and if therefore easier to insert, remove and spin inside to get the proper seal. This one has a very different texture, so while it’s soft, it’s a little more difficult to adjust inside due to the velvety texture. That said, I found it to be very easy to get a proper seal due to my prior experience with cups. Every cup has a learning curve of course, but I’m glad I started out with a different cup before ever trying the Intimina. I still recommend this cup as it is light, compact and has a similar capacity to the small Lunette, which is one of the smaller cups with a larger capacity. The Intimina compact is also perfectly shaped in terms of comfort once you manage to get the hang of inserting it properly. Overall, I think I still prefer my Ladycup and Lunette, but the Intimina compact is a great emergency option for travel, like if you are out of the house when your period starts and you left your other cups at home.

I have been using reusable pads for sometime now. Although I was happy with them, I felt like I was wasting a lot of water and electricity cleaning them.

This is my first time using anything that is inserted into vagina. I don’t even get Pap smears for the fear of pain. But I wanted to try this for my desire for green environment. I chose this after reading multiple reviews on multiple products. I chose this for its compactness and ability to carry it around in my purse.

I am in love with it. I am sad that I didn’t find this 20 years back. Love the dry feeling. Sometimes I am double checking to see if I really am on my period. Awesome. Best part is due to the suction effect, everything is drained out and there is no spotting after the 3rd day.

Know yourself and know the product! When people talk menstrual cups usually you get a lot of people saying “Diva cup!” I did some research and the diva cup would be way too long for me! Even if I cut the whole stem off, it would be longer than comfortable. The Menses Cup Viva isn’t the absolute shortest one around, but it’s short enough for me and I like the collapsible design. I don’t carry a purse, never have. If I needed to carry a diva cup or something like it around with me when I need to be prepared, well that would just be awkward. This fits in my wallet/clutch, pocket, slipped into my bra, etc.

I only just bought this one, but it was to replace my previous lily cup compact so I’ve been using this brand for a little while. (nothing wrong with the product, it met an untimely end through no fault of it’s own) It’s super soft and squishy, I do not have an issue of it collapsing up inside or anything. It’s very smooth so contents rinse out easily. It doesn’t hold as much as Diva Cups or other larger cups, but I only have a couple very heavy days and I don’t mind emptying it more often. For me the biggest upside to a menstrual cup isn’t how long you can go without emptying it, it’s how much more comfortable they are plus less wasteful and cheaper in the long run.

An awesome menstrual cup!! I tried another brand before this that was very stiff, big, and uncomfortable, but this one is just right!! Because I’ve never given birth (although I have had sex) and my cervix gets very very low during my period, I got the compact in size A. Following the clear instructions, it was very easy to insert correctly and form the essential seal the first time. It’s extremely soft and comfortable and I’ve had no leaks, even during the heaviest part of my period. The only problem for me was unsealing and removing it, as it basically suction cups around my cervix, but I think I’ll get better with that with practice. I found it easiest to take it out in the shower, just in case I got blood everywhere. And you can wear it comfortably for 12 hours, its so comfy and leak proof that you don’t even think about it, even when you poop lol. It’s very easy to clean and very easy to use, plus the compact carrier design is great!

This little cup is the best thing that has happened to my period. When I’m wearing it, I don’t even feel like anything is inside and I also don’t feel like I’m on my period. No more bulky, smelly pads. The first time I tried the cup, about a month ago, it was really uncomfortable. I didn’t insert it correctly so I was spotting and I could also feel it inside of me. Taking it out was so uncomfortable and borderline painful. I even had to trim the stem because it was rubbing me the wrong way. But this month is the second time using this cup and I’ve gotten the hang of inserting it. I love it! The only thing is that I still haven’t gotten the hang of emptying the cup without making a bit of a mess. It’s not so easy to just dump the cup since the blood consistency isn’t runny. If that makes sense. With more practice I’m sure I’ll find an effective way to empty the cup with no mess. So, if you want to have a cleaner more carefree period, I definitely recommend this cup. And it comes with a carrying case! Amazing!

I have been using this product for a few months and wish I had switched over years ago!! I caught on how to use it within 2 days and it’s been easy going since! I have recommended this to several friends who are on the fence like I was. No harsh checimals and no waste! Plus it’s compact size and cute carrying case fits in my bag and no one knows what it is so no more embarrissing moments of tampons or pads falling out. I cannot recommend this enough and if I could give it 10 stars I would! I found out about menstral cups about 7 or 8 years ago and I wish I would have made the switch then! If you’re on the fence and not sure if you can do this, buy it and give it a try! You won’t regret it! Your body and the planet will thank you!! When it’s time to buy a new one many years from now I’ll be purchasing this same one! I love it!

This is a great product and I’m mad I took so long to switch! I’ve always used tampons until I gave birth, then I liked to use pads because I felt better about monitoring my flow and its consistency. I read the advice of insert methods and finally gave it a shot. It was way easier to insert than I thought it was going to be. Retrieval was similarly easy. Sometimes I don’t achieve the complete seal, but that results in a little spotting that tells me I need to adjust, not like a crazy deluge that ruins panties. I’m seriously ashamed I used disposable menstrual products up to this point. This will save me a lot of money, better for my health and the environment!

I absolutely love this menstrual cup. It definitely takes some time to get used to if this is your first menstrual cup. I advise doing some research on insertion folds and body positions as everyone is a little different, what works for me may not work for you. As far as the cup itself I think it’s great my biggest con is also the biggest pro, it’s collapsible, so sometimes when I’m inserting it if my fingers are not placed correctly it can collapse into itself and it’s annoying if I am rushing, but since I personally insert in the morning and remove in the evening it’s usually fine. If you insert it wrong your body will let you know, you should not be able to feel this cup in your body if you do take it out and try again. Believe me, it’s not worth waling around feeling that thing in you and you may be more prone to leaking since the cup may have not made a seal. Best of luck, totally recommend!

This is the first cup I ever tried about a year ago. I absolutely loved it then but it was a little long. So I tried the A size and it was a bit longer. I never had any leaks with the B size at all. Insertion is tricky to really get the hang of at first but that’s really any cup you try. Since first buying this one my cat destroyed it a few months back so I went to Walgreens and bought the diva cup and absolutely can’t stand it and constantly have leaks. I just ordered another Lily cup today because I’m so sick of the diva cup. All in all I love that this is compact and easy to travel with, I can get through a hard workout no problem with it with no leaks! My absolute favorite cup!
