During your period, cleaning with water
During your periods, between each use of your menstrual cup, we recommend that you clean it as follows:
At first, rinse your cup with cold water to better remove all traces of blood. The blood of the menses is a very favorable environment for the proliferation of bacteria. Then with warm water, 1 to 2 minutes are sufficient to reach the necessary level of sterilization. You can also clean it with an intimate soap (pH 3.5). Remember to rinse the inside and outside of the cup.
To get rid of blood, just tap a finger in the hollow. In less than 3 minutes, you will have cleaned and reinserted your menstrual cup.
